KHMLL Minor Division (9-10 Year Old) Baseball

Managers / Coaches / Team Parent Responsibilities
                    Dress Code: Dress         appropriately for games (Baseball attire is OK)

                    Dugouts / Fields:         No food, gum, seeds, or candy allowed. Water bottles are o.k.
                                                          Clean dugouts after your game
                                                          
                    Zero Tolerance Policy: (a) No foul language (b) Good Sportsmanship Conduct (c) Parent
                    (If any of these conditions are witnessed, confirmed and turned in on a  KHMLL Complaint form
                    by the Home Plate Umpire and 0pposing manager or acting manager/coach you will lose your
                    right to manage or coach your team for the remainder of the season

                    Team Sponsorship:           a team sponsorship of $250.00 is required

                    League Fundraiser:        100% team and parent participation is required

Division In House rules:
1.        Up to three adults in Minor Division allowed in Dugouts
2.        2 adults (while batting / offense) 1 adult must remain in dugout
3.        Managers are responsibile to players for at least
1 at bat, and six defense outs
4.        Pitching Distance: 46 feet (regular harball used)
5.        Thowing bats: 1st Warning - verbal to Manager / Coaches / Player
                             2nd Warning - batter is out
6.        Manager or Acting Manager: must call time out before crossing double yellows in order
        to be addressed by Home Plate Umpire.

Time Limit: 1 hour 30 minutes DROP DEAD TIME! Know your start time. A "Grace" period of 15 minutes is allowed
     for player shortage. This time will cut into your game time. In the event umpire starts late, the time gets
    extended, up to 15 minutes. Games can start with
one umpire
8.        1 hour 30 minute rule: All games are to use 1 hour, 30 minutes (no matter the score or which team is batting.)
         Purpose - to get your players an at-bat or defensive inning.
9.        Five (5) Run rule: five runs per inning
10.      Official Score Book: Home team scorebook is Offical scorebook. Managers must sign-off each other
         scorebooks for pitching verification. POLICE YOURSELVES
11.      Protest during game:  Manager or Acting Manager may protest a play/game. Proper format must be followed
         (Little League Handbook). Continue game as soon as possible.

General rules
1.        No arguing judgement calls. Anything within the rule book, you mall call time out and ask. (Do not delay game more than
    a minute or two)
2.        Team lineups need to be turned in as soon as possible to opposing team and announcer.
3.        All players must sit down on the bench provided in dugouts
4.        Players are encouraged to cheer for their team (not against the opposing team.) No unsportsmanlike conduct.
